As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. Next up is first-round draft pick safety Deone Bucannon.
2013: He was a force in the Pac-12 on defense. He led the conference in tackles and tied for most interceptions. He is known for his hitting and great size. The biggest knock on him is his ability to recover if a receiver gets by him.
2014: Originally when drafted I didn’t know much about him to be honest, even as the Pac-12 guy I am. Problem was he was stuck at Washington State. After doing my research following the pick I think the Cards hit a home run here. He is the fierce hitter that the Cards will need in the defensive backfield. I think he will fit fine in Todd Bowles system and make a lot of noise in the NFC West.
