As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is kicker Chandler Catanzaro.

2013 season: He was the kicker for the Clemson Tigers.  He went 13-14 in field goals last season, including kicking a season long 51-yarder. He was not the team’s primary kickoff guy only kicking the ball off five times with one touchback.

2014 season:  He’s one of three kickers on this current roster, which includes incumbent Jay Feely.  He isn’t beating Feely out but Feely does need the competition and maybe Catanzaro can do enough to catch someone’s eye.  He’ll get his work in the preseason but the lack of leg strength on kickoffs is something to look at and would be a concern for a team willing to keep just one kicker and in this NFL, you can’t afford the luxury of two kickers.  I look for him to be an early roster casualty in August.
