As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. Next up is safety Tony Jefferson.
2013 season: Jefferson played in all 16 games, mostly as a backup. He did start two games. He ended up with 24 tackles and one fumble recovery.
2014 season: He will again be fighting for a starting spot. He has a lot of competition to work with this preseason namely rookie Deone Bucannon. I don’t have any doubts he will make the final 53 but whether it is as a backup or not will remain to be seen. He is a guy you don’t hear much from so he’ll be someone to watch closely this preseason and see what improvements he has been able to make over last season.
