As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. Next up is outside linebacker Alex Okafor.
2013 season: Okafor was drafted in the fourth round of the 2013 draft. He only ended up playing in one regular season game, against the New Orleans Saints, due to a biceps injury that landed him on the injured reserve for the season. He ended up with just one tackle.
2014 season: I look for Okafor to make a big impact this season. Coming off his season-ending injury Cards fans should be excited to finally see what Okafor can provide. I like his size on the outside. Barring injury, this could be a big season for him. Mentally he is in his second year having been in the league for year but playing experience he is basically still a rookie. Let’s hope he doesn’t play like one.
