As the Arizona Cardinals are in preparation for the season with training camp now in full swing in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. Next up is center Lyle Sendlein.
2013 season: Sendlein started every game at center for the Cardinals last season. He has started every game he has played in for the Cards since 2008. He has had a full season every year except in 2012 when he only played in 11 games.
2014 season: Sendlein pretty much sealed his preseason fate with a calf injury that is expected to sideline him for at least the next three weeks. That being said, Sendlein’s job is not in jeopardy when he returns. He has been the started as previously noted and will continue to be. He’s consistent and plays consistently well. That’s all you can ask from your starting center. This is his seventh season as a full-time starter. Let’s hope he recovers quick. The Cards will need him.
