Arizona Cardinals: Another Great Test

With their third pre-season game, the Arizona Cardinals take on the Cincinnati Bengals. This match up will be another good test for the offense and defense. The special teams as well will get tested after a bad performance last week.

On offense, Bobby Massie will take on Carlos Dunlop. We all will find out if Massie really has what it takes. The line will also have to deal with Geno Atkins, if he plays. The Bengals also have stars in Vontaze Burfict and Rey Maualuga. These three, possibly four can wreak havoc along the line and stop the running game. The o-line has to keep on their toes if they`re going to do their job.

On defense, even though the loss of Darnell Dockett hurts, the d-line will show everyone that they will do just fine without him. Even without Dockett, they still can stop the likes of Giovani Bernard and Ben-Jarvus Green-Ellis. I`ll be watching how well Patrick Peterson holds up against A.J. Green. Last week Peterson got burned by Cordarrelle Patterson a few times. Facing a QB like Andy Dalton, the secondary will have to keep on their toes and be on point. If they don`t, they will get burned.

On special teams, last week they give up big chunks of yards a few times before anyone made a tackle. This week the Cardinals are facing Brandon Tate and Adam Jones. Everyone on special teams needs to play better or Tate and/or Jones will run one back. I don`t know about you, but after seeing the horrible performance last week. i`m a little scared.

With last week`s game, Bruce Arians and Todd Bowles were testing everyone in the second half. They were trying to figure out who makes the roster. As for this game, I would expect to see the same from them again. If Logan Thomas plays like he did against the Texan, I would expect a win. If he does`nt, the Cardinals just might lose again. Either way, I will enjoy watching this game.
