The Arizona Cardinals released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday afternoon and the list isn’t about how long or short it is but who is on it.  We all know by now that quarterback Carson Palmer is on it.  He is not looking good for Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

Palmer did not practice on Wednesday.  He was excused to go see a specialist about his shoulder, which basically fell back to last week’s status in which a nerve was not responding.  Hopefully nothing horrible comes from the visit.

Others on the injury list for the Cards today include:

Limited today: Running back Andre Ellington, guard Paul Fanaika, linebacker Alex Okafor, defensive tackle Frostee Rucker, punter Dave Zastudil

Full practice: Tight end Rob Housler

Of those limited the one to least worry about would be Ellington.  He’s pretty much going to be  limited a lot during the week heading into gameday.  The one most worrisome is Fanaika.  He has an injured knee.  He didn’t practice at all on Monday but did so in a limited fashion Wednesday.  It appears that Okafor will be ready to go, which is great news.  He’s not played in a year.
