The Arizona Cardinals lost one player and gained another on Wednesday off of their practice squad.  They lost defensive back/kick returned Teddy Williams to the Chicago Bears, who signed him off the Cards practice squad.  So the Cards added wide receiver Jalen Saunders to take his place.

Saunders has already seen regular season action this year with the New York Jets.  He played in the first three games of the season for the Jets as a punt returner.  He had five punt returns totaling 29 yards.

The Jets drafted Saunders in the 2014 NFL draft in the fourth-round.  The Jets ended up releasing him after he muffed a punt in the Monday night loss to, ironically, the Chicago Bears in week three.  He was on the Jets roster in week four against the Lions this past weekend but he was inactive and then he was released.  Saunders, despite the muffed punt, can now be insurance for Ted Ginn and any other receiver that may go down.
