Not talked about much after the game but Arizona Cardinals running back Stepfan Taylor injured his calf in the victory over the Philadelphia Eagles
The hits just keep coming. We already knew about cornerback Patrick Peterson and then came word cornerback Tony Jefferson was also going through a concussion protocol but then word came down that running back Stepfan Taylor, who left the game on Sunday with a calf injury, now could miss “significant time” according to azcentral.com sportswriter Kent Somers.

Taylor already has three touchdowns on the season and has been a nice fixture in goal line situations. He is used a lot like running back Andre Ellington in that he can run and catch the ball. He had two touchdowns, one receiving and one rushing, last week in the victory over the Oakland Raiders.
It’s just another loss for the Cards and they still have to wait and see what takes place with Peterson and Jefferson this week. As for Taylor, how much time he is out remains to be seen but Cards beat reporter Mike Jurecki indicated it could be at least 2-4 weeks. Somers would just use the words significant time.

So once again, it is next man up. The Cards activated running back Marion Grice for the first time this season on Sunday but he did not play. Ellington was the only Cards running back to carry the ball. With the absence of Taylor look for a lot more of Robert Hughes and maybe even Grice.
