The Arizona Cardinals bad day so far against the Dallas Cowboys started off with the opening kickoff
When Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington decided to let the opening kickoff hit the ground behind him, it had to be taken as a sign of things to come. Ted Ginn had to save the ball from being scooped up by the Dallas Cowboys.

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was hurried on the first play of the game and his pass was almost intercepted. Seven plays later he was intercepted for the second time this season and Cowboys defensive back Tyler Patmon took the ball to the end zone 58-yards for a pick-six. It was 7-0 Cowboys before you could blink.
The second drive for the Cards didn’t go so well either. They got a first down on the first play of the drive with an 11-yard pass to receiver Michael Floyd, his first catch in a couple of weeks. He did not catch a pass last week. However the Cards ended up punting four plays later.
The Cowboys got on offense and moved the ball well on their first drive. They took the ball down the field but stalled at the Cards 35-yard line. They settled for a 52-yard Dan Bailey field goal.
The Cardinals third offensive drive has gotten off to a good start. They were faced with a third and two but got a 31-yard pass from Palmer to receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Two plays later he found receiver John Brown for 10 yards. Receiver Jaron Brown just caught a pass for a first down to end the first quarter. The drive will continue into the second quarter.
