The Arizona Cardinals took care of business on Sunday beating the Dallas Cowboys after falling behind early 10-0.  It was all pretty much Cardinals after that point.  Now it is time to give away game balls from today’s game.

Once again multiple players could be called out in each facet of the game for the Cardinals.  The defense was the star for much of the game but the offense did their thing in the second and fourth quarters.

More from Cardinals News

Offensive game ball:

Cardinals running back Andre Ellington.  He had a very good day.  He carried the ball 21 times for 85 yards.  He also had four receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown.  No doubt he outplayed Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray.  Ellington made some very nice cuts when it looked like he had nothing.  His longest run, for 20 yards, was a run that if he had a little more room around the corner could have gone for a lot more.

Defensive game ball:

Cardinals defensive tackle Dan Williams.  He was a beast on Sunday.  For the first time, in maybe his career, I felt like he made a huge impact and probably the biggest on defense.  He had a team-high seven tackles, two of them for a loss, one of them for a sack.  His sack was huge.  It helped stall a Cowboys drive at the end of the first half which kept them out of the end zone and attempt a field goal.

Special teams game ball:

Cornerback Justin Bethel.  Speaking of that attempted field goal at the end of the first half.  Bethel blocked the Dan Bailey attempt and it was picked up by cornerback Patrick Peterson, who almost ran the blocked kick back for a touchdown.
