Arizona Cardinals Odds Improve For Super Bowl XLIX
By Scott Allen
The Arizona Cardinals odds to make it to the Super Bowl were improved this week after going 7-1 at the midway point of the season
For the Arizona Cardinals, being 7-1 is a nice place to be at. The Cardinals are in first place in the NFC West, currently the number one seed in the NFC if the playoffs were to start today and they own the best record in the NFL. Las Vegas has noticed.

In the latest Vegas odds, released by 247sports.com, the Cardinals are 12-1 favorites to win the Super Bowl. When was the last time the Cardinals had such good odds at any given point in the season? Four teams have better odds.
The Denver Broncos are at 18-5, the New England Patriots are 6-1, the Seattle Seahawks are 17-2, and the Green Bay Packers are 9-1. Denver and New England I get but Seattle? At 5-3 and two games behind the Cardinals and even though they are the defending champions I’m not sure I’m out there putting money on them.
Of course you can say there are still 25 teams that are within two games of a playoff spot or in position for a playoff spot. There is a lot of football still to be played. Just ask the Cardinals. Of the eight games they have left, five are games against NFC West divisional foes.
The Cardinals also have games at home against Detroit and Kansas City and a road game at Atlanta outside the NFC West. One game at a time but it is always interesting to see what the oddsmakers think of your team.
