The Arizona Cardinals are using their home field advantage to its utmost on Sunday, keeping the roof closed at University of Phoenix Stadium
There is a lot on the line today at University of Phoenix Stadium as the 8-1 Arizona Cardinals take on the 7-2 Detroit Lions. Both teams are division leaders. The Cardinals will rely on Drew Stanton and Andre Ellington on the field. Off the field the will rely on their fans. They have decided to keep the roof closed on Sunday against the Lions.

Of course on a beautiful, sunny 70-degree day there is no other reason to keep the roof closed than to make sure the noise level is high. I understand it. I do think it is a shame fans don’t get to enjoy an outdoor game and with the way things are going, probably won’t this season. However the Cardinals must feel they need every advantage they can at this point, especially with the loss of quarterback Carson Palmer.
Either way, the Cardinals fans are pumped up for this one. Here is a sampling of what they are saying on Twitter this morning.
Everyone will be ready to go come 2:25pm. let’s just go out and get business done Don’t worry about who you have and who you don’t. Play your best with who you have. Go in with the attitude and the Cardinals should be just fine.
