Detroit Lions vs Arizona Cardinals inactives for Sunday’s game a University of Phoenix Stadium
The Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions have named their inactives for this afternoon’s game in Glendale. As the Cardinals reported on Friday, they will be without the services of defensive tackle Ed Stinson.
The Lions also will be without a big offensive playmaker. They will be without running back Reggie Bush. Some thought he’d be able to come back this week but per Jay Glazer of Fox Sports Bush wants to rest one more week before returning. Not good news for Lions fans but you won’t see any shed tears from Cardinals fans.
Arizona Cardinals inactives:
DT Ed Stinson, RB Kerwynn Williams, LB Desmond Bishop, LB Glenn Carson, DT Ed Stinson, DE Josh Mauro, G Earl Watford, TE Darren Fells
Detroit Lions inactives:
RB Reggie Bush, DT Nick Fairley, G Larry Warford, TE Brandon Pettigrew, QB Kellen Moore, DE Larry Webster, WR Ryan Broyles
For the Cardinals this means that all three quarterbacks will be active Sunday afternoon. Drew Stanton will start with Logan Thomas as his backup. Recently acquired Ryan Lindley will be the third quarterback this week. That may not last long though.
For the Lions, no Pettigrew at tight end means that Joseph Fauria will see action. For the Cardinals, this also means the return to action for running back Stepfan Taylor. He has missed the last two games because of a calf injury. Taylor is active but we will see if he plays.
