Jamaal Charles had a big 63 yard score and a catch out of the backfield for another score after coming back from an ankle injury early in the second quarter. Charles has 74 yards rushing thus far.
The Cards defense gave up a crucial third and 19 to receiver Dwayne Bowe, as Alex Smith continues to look like Russell Wilson running the ball on broken plays.
Cardinals have to clean up their defense and shut down the run game if they want to have a chance to win the game.
Smith has been efficient as usual in the short passing game, as he finish the half near perfect at 12/13 for 109 yards and one touchdown.
Drew Stanton is 11/17 for 131 yards, still is having some accuracy issues as he missed on key plays on the first half ending drive. Field goals verses touchdowns will get you beat every time, as the Cards tried to finish the half with a field goal, but was missed by rookie kicker Chandler Catanzaro.
Thing are looking rather bleak as the Chiefs offense starting to take control of the game. We’ll see how the Cards respond in the second half.
