The Arizona Cardinals may have Sean Weatherspoon but other names have popped up as well
On Sunday night it was reported that linebacker Sean Weatherspoon will agree to a contract with the Arizona Cardinals. Of course we won’t know what’s official or non-official until tomorrow at this time. Other names have surfaced today that the Cardinals might be interested in.

Last night I mentioned the possibilities of adding a new center either in Stefen Wisniewski or A.Q. Shipley. If that holds true, say goodbye to Lyle Sendlein. They also are rumored to be looking at linebacker Brian Orakpo. That certainly would be an interesting get.
Today they did add one of their own. Defensive tackle Alameda Ta’amu was re-signed after being having been non-tendered a couple of days ago. Ta’amu only played 24 snaps in 2014 due to injury. If he can re-gain what he had in 2013 then he should be a great guy for depth.
Continuing on the defensive line it was reported that the Cardinals may be interested in Chicago Bears free agent Stephen Paea. Turns out according to revengeofthebirds.com he will sign with the Washington Redskins. Former Arizona Wildcats outside linebacker Brooks Reed was rumored to have drawn interest from the Arizona Cardinals, amongst other teams. Bleacher Report has just reported though that Reed is leaning towards joining the Atlanta Falcons. Reed has been with the Houston Texans since being drafted in 2011.
We’ll continue to watch the news coming out on free agents. Free agency officially starts at 1 p.m. Arizona time on Tuesday.
