Paul Fanaika’s two-year career in Arizona was not what one would call a success. He was bad in 2013, and in 2014, injury issues took his play from below average to just plain bad. He wasn’t able to keep up in either run or pass protection.

Given this, it’s no surprise that Arizona didn’t bat an eye when Fanaika left for the Chiefs. If he can compete for a starting spot there, good for him. But his time in Arizona was just not good, and the ankle injury he sustained last season only made him less productive.
