The NFL announced the 2015 schedule will be released Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. Arizona Time

The time has come.  Arizona Cardinals fans will finally know how the 2015 schedule will be laid out.  Fans will find out when the Cardinals will play and where as will the rest of the NFL.  The NFL has announced the schedule release for tomorrow night at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

For the past couple of week I’ve been talking about the schedule release and who the Cardinals play this upcoming season.  Now we are going to find out the when.  Will the Cardinals open at home?  Will they be loaded with home games early or late?  How many national television games will there be?

More from Cardinals News

The season kicks off on Thursday night September 10th.  The New England Patriots will host the game as the 2014 Super Bowl Champions.  My prediction is that they will open against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaking of predictions, here is my official prediction of how the schedule will play out for the Cardinals.  Of course most of it will be wrong but it is fun to make a best guess, isn’t it?  So here it is.

Monday September 14th – San Francisco 49ers (Monday Night Football)

What a great way to start the season.  Game is at home and again can play host to the night cap of ESPN’s Monday Night Football doubleheader.

Sunday September 20th – @St. Louis Rams

Last year the NFL sent the Cardinals to St. Louis late in the season and in the season opener in 2013.  Time to go back to an early season visit to St. Louis.

Sunday September 27th – @Chicago Bears

The Cardinals have several colder climates to visit.  One of them is bound to be in the warmer months, so why not Chicago?

Sunday October 4th – Cincinnati Bengals

The first of four games against the AFC North.  The game is early enough in the season where both teams should still be on track for playoff positioning.

Sunday October 11th – BYE

Last season the bye came in week four.  Week five sounds better this time around.

Sunday October 18th – @Seattle Seahawks

The Cardinals weren’t laughing much having to play Seattle twice late in the season in 2014.  This year I think the NFL cuts them a break and separates the two games a little bit more.

Sunday October 25th – Green Bay Packers (Sunday Night Football)

Here it is.  This will be the Cardinals only Sunday Night Football game.  I have no doubt they will get one.  I thought long and hard who it would be against and there were a number of candidates.  I think NBC is going to be careful about the Cardinals though given the rout they were on the wrong end of last December against Seattle.
