Player profile of WR John Brown as Arizona Cardinals training camp starts July 31st
As we prepare for Arizona Cardinals training camp reporting date of July 31st, it is time for our annual look at the roster player by player. I look at what they’ve done, where they are now and how I project each player’s status at the end of camp.
We go from A to Z and continue with WR John Brown. Brown, out of Clemson, is going into his third season with the Cardinals.

2014 season: John Brown by all accounts was a bit of a surprise to a number of Cardinals fans. Not many, including myself, had not heard of Brown when he was drafted out of Pittsburg State in Kansas. He was very entertaining but very productive. He had 48 receptions for 696 yards and five touchdowns. He also has a pretty nifty touchdown dance. His most memorable touchdown of the season came in a 24-20 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Carson Palmer hit him for a go-ahead and eventual winning 75-yard touchdown late in the game.
2015 season projection: He should solidify the number three receiver spot without much hassle. I think unless he has a very poor camp he will not play his way down on the depth chart. I think all he can do is go up.

The more I look up Arians and #Cardinals WR John Brown the more I'm liking. His later weeks rookie decline was riddled w/uncatchable targets

Clearly fans and media want more of what they saw from Brown, particularly in the first half of the 2014 season. Many think he will carry what he learned last season into this season. So far he has not given us any reason to believe otherwise.
