18. Houston Texans

2014 season record: 9-7

Top additions: QB Brian Hoyer, WR Cecil Shorts, DT Vince Wilfork

Top departures: WR Andre Johnson, S Kendrick Lewis, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick

2015 projection: 9-7, 2nd AFC South, miss playoffs

Ryan Mallett is expected to be the number one quarterback in Houston this year.  They will be in the mix for the playoffs again but they need to stay healthy.  They’ve had some injuries over the past few seasons that has derailed chances to make the playoffs.

They also need consistency from the quarterback position.  Right now I see them finishing 9-7 at best.
