2014 season record: 10-6
Top additions: QB Sam Bradford, RB DeMarco Murray, CB Byron Maxwell
Top departures: QB Nick Foles, RB LeSean McCoy, WR Jeremy Maclin
2015 projection: 9-7, 2nd NFC East, miss playoffs
The Eagles still have some good personnel, so let’s get that clear. However I don’t think Chip Kelly has done enough to make his team better. He makes a trade for Sam Bradford, which doesn’t quite make sense. He rids of Foles, who we know is healthy and good enough to play in this league. Bradford was injured in the preseason in 2014 and still isn’t ready to return to contact play. To compare, Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer had the same torn ACL injury occur in November and he’s already back 100 percent.
The Eagles did do well in getting DeMarco Murray but then they allowed Jeremy Maclin to leave. I don’t think even people in Philadelphia completely know what Kelly is up to. They have the talent to win though, so I say 9-7 at worst but if that’s the case, then they aren’t making the NFC playoffs.
