2014 season record: 12-4
Top additions: WR Ty Montgomery, QB Brett Hundley, DB Damarious Randall
Top departures: LB A.J. Hawk, CB Davon House, LB Brad Jones
2015 projection: 13-3, 1st NFC North, 1st seed NFC Playoffs
Finally we get to the Packers. They were one boneheaded onside lick away from getting to the Super Bowl last season. They outplayed Seattle for 58 minutes last January. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be right back in the thick of it in 2015.
The Packers also get to play the Seahawks in the regular season this year and that could make the difference between a one or two seed in the playoffs. I’m sure the Packers have the date circled already on a calendar. The Packers got receiver Randall Cobb to re-sign with the team in free agency. They lost a couple of guys on defense but all of the offense is back plus some a couple of college studs in Ty Montgomery and Brett Hundley. There is no reason to believe there will be any drop off for the Packers this season.
