As we prepare for Arizona Cardinals training camp reporting date of July 31st, it is time for our annual look at the roster player by player. I look at what they’ve done, where they are now and how I project each player’s status at the end of camp.
We go from A to Z and continue with ILB Kenny Demens. Demens enters his third season with the Cardinals.

2014 season: Demens saw playing time in 14 of the Cardinals 16 games last season. He has not started any games. As a backup he’s done enough to stick around. He tallied nine tackles and had one forced fumble against the New York Giants last season. He moved between the practice squad and the active roster in 2013 but in 2014 was on the final 53-man roster.
2015 season projection: Hard to say. The depth at linebacker is about the same except with different personnel. He only sits behind Sean Weatherspoon on the depth chart on the right side so unless someone else better is coming along, Demens has a decent shot at making the final roster. Anything can happen though, so I’m not etching his name in pen just yet.
As you can see from Mike Jurecki’s tweet, Demens certainly has a chance to crack the final roster again in 2015. Glenn Carson has been in kind of the same boat as he has playing off and on. Minter is on the left side and Weatherspoon right in front of him on the right side.
