Player profile of WR Trevor Harman as Arizona Cardinals training camp starts July 31st

As we prepare for Arizona Cardinals training camp reporting date of July 31st, it is time for our annual look at the roster player by player.  I look at what they’ve done, where they are now and how I project each player’s status at the end of camp.

We go from A to Z and continue with WR Trevor Harman.  Harman is an undrafted rookie from Shippensburg.

More from Cardinals News

2014 season: Harman had 98 receptions for 947 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2014 for Shippensburg, averaging 86.1 yards-per-game.

2015 season projection: He has some good height at 6’3 so that should give him a little edge over others at the bottom of the depth chart in camp.  It will be tough for him to break camp on the final 53-man roster though.  The Cardinals are loaded at receiver.  Harman’s best shot might be on special teams.  We’ll see.  His grand-uncle is none other than coach Bruce Arians but don’t let that family tie fool you.  If Harman makes it somehow, it will be because of what he did on the field, period.

It is also hard to ignore Harman’s career numbers at Shippensburg.  He accumulated 321 receptions for 4,249 yards and 61 touchdowns in his four seasons at the NCAA Division II school.  He will likely get a long look in camp but don’t be disappointed when he doesn’t make the final cut.  Maybe a practice roster spot will be open for him?  We’ll see.
