Third string quarterback

Logan Thomas still has a lot of work to do.  We all know that.  There is a differing opinion out there though as to whether Thomas will ever be ready to play in the NFL.  He was pressed into service last season because of injury.  He got into one game and quite frankly was not very good, despite throwing a touchdown that was a lucky one my many accounts.

In mini-camp Arians still seemed perplexed by Thomas and seemed very unsure of his status come camp time.  As for the other guys he’s competing against?  That would be partially blind Phillip Sims out of Winston-Salem State and Chandler Harnish from Northern Illinois.  Sims is a rookie and Harnish spent time in training camps last season but never saw the light of day in the regular season, his rookie campaign.

Logic at this point says Harnish wins the spot but the Cardinals have liked what they’ve seen from Sims at times so far but according to Arians the job is completely wide open.  This one may be the one I keep my eye closest on.
