The Arizona Cardinals have left us with no shortage of things to talk about

The Arizona Cardinals enter their fourth day of practice and fifth day of camp overall on Tuesday.  There have already been a number of storylines that have been generated.  That tends to happen with 90 guys fighting for 53 spots and so much taking place on the field at once.

These are the top five stories that have surfaced over these first several days.  It’s not all great news but important nonetheless.

Carson Palmer’s return

Palmer has looked great over the first few practices of training camp.  Not only has he completely come back from his torn ACL already, he has come back stronger.  He has shown great footwork and great velocity on his throws.

Let’s not forget that Palmer is not only returning from a torn ACL, he also had on and off again shoulder issues last year.  His shoulder was essentially dead at one point early last season.  He couldn’t life it and had to see specialists.  Now he says his shoulder is better than ever.

Not only does he feel better, he looks better.  He said he changed some of his mechanics in the process of rehabbing.  When I was at camp yesterday his throws looked great and were on the money often.  Not every pass was gold but it was enough to make you smile and hope that he can remain healthy all season.
