The Arizona Cardinals host the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night at 6pm

The Arizona Cardinals first teamer’s will not see a lot of action on Saturday night.  Starting quarterback Carson Palmer will only play one series in the preseason opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night.  Game time is 6pm at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

However there have been some players who have shown some greatness in the first two weeks of training camp.  These are the guys I would say be on the lookout for on Saturday night.

 Jaron Brown

The first receiver to keep an eye on is Jaron Brown.  He has had a good camp so far.  I thought he started out slow the first couple of days but he came on strong, particularly in week one of training camp.  Brown has been a guy I’ve spent the majority of the offseason saying he was on the bubble as far as making the Cardinals final 53-man roster.  My tune quickly changed after seeing him in action last week.  He should make the roster without any problem.

Ifeanyi Momah

This guy was virtually unknown to many Cardinals fans but certainly not to Eagles fans.  Momah is currently ahead of guys like Jermaine Gresham and seventh-round draft pick Gerald Christian on the Cardinals depth chart at the second tight end spot.  Momah has worked his tail off the first two weeks.  The first time he was mentioned in a camp presser, coach Bruce Arians didn’t even know how to pronounce his name.  That’s changed.  Get to know him.  You might get to see a lot of him.
