J.J. Nelson

You take one look at this guy and you understand why he’s so fast.  He’s fast not just going down the field but fast off the line of scrimmage.  However if you really look at hos skinny his legs look, you wonder how is this guy going to survive a hit?  Well, he does and he will.  I am so looking forward to seeing what he can do not only at wide receiver but in the return game as well.

He had a 4.28 40-yard in the Scouting Combine. That’s blazing speed.  Don’t blink an eye because you will probably miss him.  I am only half-joking.  I didn’t understand all the hype until I got out to a practice myself and watched him in action.

I expect we will get a good look at the receiver and returner out of the University of Alabama-Birmingham tonight against the Chiefs.  I also expect the Chiefs will get one look and be happy they don’t have to face him in the regular season in 2015.

Andrae Kirk

The inside linebacker sits behind Kevin Minter and Glenn Carson on the depth chart but he has been one who also has had a good camp so far.  The Cardinals have gotten thin a the inside linebacker position so this is an opportunity for Kirk to sieze.  It’s a make or break year for Minter and the jury is still out on Carson.
