John Brown
I think we can all forget about a possible sophomore slump for the second-year receiver. John Brown was back doing John Brown things on Saturday night. After starting the season red hot in 2014 and tailing off a bit at the end, the John Brown we saw early last season was back.
He caught three passes for 39 yards, including a great 17-yard touchdown catch in the back of the end zone from quarterback Carson Palmer in the first quarter of Saturday night’s game. He was targeted a total of four times in the game.
It was talked about on air how Brown re-invented himself in the off-season with his eating habits. He no longer eats fast food and put some muscle on during the off-season. All the while, Brown has not lost a single step and maybe even got a bit quicker. At least from my vantage point on Saturday night it sure seemed like it.
