Arizona Cardinals: What people are saying after 47-7 victory

Arizona Cardinals fans are thrilled with the 3-0 start after the 47-7 victory over the San Francisco 49ers

There is a long way to go in the season, however it is hard not to be giddy about the Arizona Cardinals and the way they have started the 2015 season so far.  Sure, they’ve beaten the now 0-3 New Orleans Saints, the now 0-3 Chicago Bears, and the now 1-2 San Francisco 49ers.

Listen, they aren’t the New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, and Denver Broncos however you can only beat the teams on your schedule and the Cardinals have never handled the 49ers the way they did today.  The Bears had never been handled at home the way they were last week.

Credit should be given where credit it’s due.  There is a lot of work to do no doubt.  However I don’t see every team going out there and winning 47-7 and 48-23, even against teams they should be beating.  The fact is these Cardinals are something we’ve not seen in 28 years in Arizona.

So much truth in that one tweet.  If you can’t get on board with what the Cardinals have done so far, then you’re not doing it right.  No, the Cardinals have not accomplished a single thing other than a 3-0 record and a plus 77 point differential.  No, let’s not annoint them Super Bowl Champions.  Let’s give them some credit though.

Like I said, there is a long way to go.  However giving up just 156 yards on defense with four interceptions, something is clicking.  It was a little bit of a defensive mess in the first half of the Bears game but other than that, the defense hasn’t had to be perfect.  They were close on Sunday.

The offense, as good as they’ve been and quarterback Carson Palmer’s nine touchdowns against just two interceptions so far, can still improve.  They had to punt a few times when you felt like the Cardinals could have and maybe should have gotten more out of the drive.  That’s scary to know they can be better.

It’s going to be a fun ride.  Still some very tough home and road games to go.  Coach Bruce Arians won’t let it get to their heads, I promise.  For now, as a fan, this is pure football fun my friends.
