Three potential serious injuries

While the Cardinals traveled to West Virginia on Sunday evening to stay back east for next week’s game at Pittsburgh, the Cardinals had to send three players back to Arizona for MRI’s on Monday.  Included in that bunch are linebacker Alex Okafor, linebacker Kenny Demens, and safety Chris Clemons.

Demens already confirmed to media he believes he has an ACL injury.  That too is feared for Okafor, however his injury is just being deemed as a calf injury right now.  Then Clemons will also get an MRI on Monday.  Cards head coach Bruce Arians said in the post-game that none of the injuries look good.  Not the news you want to hear about injured players from your head coach.

The bigger question will be who replaces these guys should they be lost for any significant time?  The one many will worry about the most will be Okafor.
