Arizona Cardinals: 5 reasons to be thankful

With the Arizona Cardinals in first-place in the NFC West these are the top reasons to be thankful

There are a lot of reasons to be thankful this season when it comes to the Arizona Cardinals.  However some reasons stick out more than the rest.  These are the top five reasons to be thankful for being an Arizona Cardinals fan on this Thanksgiving.

Tyrann Mathieu

The Honey Badger he is affectionately known as.  He has been a great addition to the Cardinals defense ever since being drafted in 2013.  He was in a bit of trouble when he was at LSU however he had players already on the Cardinals roster who were vouching for him, namely cornerback Patrick Peterson.

Peterson, who was a teammate of Mathieu at LSU, told the Cardinals they’d be missing out if they didn’t draft him.  Peterson took him under his wing and from there on out the Honey Badger has been nothing but a pillar of the community and an excellent safety for coach Bruce Arians.
