Arizona Cardinals, NFL players react to Mathieu injury

The Arizona Cardinals lost safety Tyrann Mathieu for the season Monday with a torn ACL
It is never a good thing to lose anyone to injury. It is always devastating to hear when a player is lost for the season because of a major injury. It is that much tougher when it is in individual like Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu.
Mathieu, who ended up tearing his ACL in an interception towards the end of the Cardinals 40-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, is a huge loss on the field. He is loved for what he does on the field but maybe even more so for what he has accomplished off of it.
So, naturally his teammates and other NFL players took to Twitter to react to the news handed down after noon time on Monday from headquarters in Tempe. You can tell Mathieu means a lot both on and off the field to many. The first reaction though from Mathieu himself is important to note.

Its a tough blow. I can’t imagine what it must be like for a football player to sit and watch something like that to another player, always knowing the next one in that position could be them? He will be back though!
