3. David Johnson 47-yard touchdown vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Workhorse. Hard to bring down.  Tough.  Bring your own adjective because what Johnson did on his 47-yard touchdown run against the Eagles on Sunday Night Football was everything north of spectacular. In a play where Johnson appeared to be going down for little or no gain, he ended up scoring on.

He found his way through a pile of Eagles defenders looking like he might go down a couple of times.  He then tip-toed down the sideline, managing to stay in-bounds, and scored.  The run broke a 10-10 tie and the Cardinals never looked back.

The touchdown happened right before the end of the first-half.  There is no better way to gain momentum in a game than to take control right before the end of a first-half.  The play was more than just another scoring play.  It was a hard-fought for touchdown.  Johnson’s run epitomized just how much the Cardinals want to win.  For that attitude to reach to someone still in his rookie season is truly amazing.  However as Bruce Arians said, Johnson is no longer a rookie.  He looks like a seasoned veteran out there now.
