2. Dwight Freeney strip sack- fumble vs. Minnesota Vikings
We had to sweat through this one. The offense stalled at times and in a 23-20 game the Vikings were driving in this Thursday Night Football contest in December. When you want to talk about momentum, the Vikings had it square in their hands moving down the field in what appeared to be at least a game-tying drive.
There was still time though for them to get a possible game-winning touchdown the way they were moving the ball. However linebacker Dwight Freeney was going to have none of that. Giving us his trademark spin move, Freeney got to Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and knocked the ball out of his hands. Defensive end Calais Campbell recovered the ball and the game was over.
It was such an amazing play not only because of the action but because of the situation. The Vikings were at the Cardinals 31-yard line and already in field goal range. However the Vikings were looking for more. It cost them but nevertheless it gave the Cardinals a great victory against a NFC playoff team.
