Tony Jefferson

He isn’t George Jefferson but Tony Jefferson is moving on up many lists of favorite Cardinals players fans have.  I know he is near the top on mine, has been all season.  However he played great on Saturday night.

He lead the team with nine tackles on Saturday night.  Two of his tackles were for losses.  His anticipation of a Aaron Rodgers pass in the first quarter had him almost dancing with a pick-six to the end zone.  Without Tyrann Mathieu out on the field, Jefferson has become a very integral part of the Cardinals defense.

Jefferson stepped up in prime time.  That’s where you separate the boys from the men.  Tony Jefferson is a man and I am sure glad he is on our side.  The Cardinals will need a couple more performances just like that from him in order to win it all.
