Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is a finalist for the 2016 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame
The Pro Football Hall of Fame 2016 class will be announced on Saturday night and these are the individuals I believe will get in. It is a great list of finalists and you could make a case for everyone. Unfortunately not all of them will get in this year and some may never, although if they are a finalist, you have to figure their day is coming soon if not Saturday night.
The Arizona Cardinals and their fans will be anxiously awaiting the announcement. Former Cardinals and St. Louis Rams quarterback Kurt Warner is one of the finalists.
My predictions:
Brett Favre
How does Favre not get in on his first try? Ok, talk all you want about his interceptions (he threw 336 of them in his career) but he put the Green Bay Packers back on the map. After Green Bay, he got people interested in the New York Jets again.
It was weird to see him in a Minnesota Vikings jersey at the end of his career but he had 44 touchdowns those two seasons. He ended up with 508 touchdown passes. He had 27 or more touchdown passes in 11 of his 20 seasons. He was recently honored by the Packers along with former Packers quarterback great Bart Starr.
Chances of getting in: I have Favre as 100 percent. You can’t deny him. Not now, not ever.
Next: Best left tackle ever?
