Another Broncos free agent. We all know the story of the Cardinals linebacker core over the last couple of seasons. They’ve been decimated. The Cardinals could go after Trevathan harder than Malik Jackson.

Once again the question begs though. Will the Broncos be willing to pay him? Trevathan played behind Brandon Marshall at times in 2015 but he would likely see more playing time with the Cardinals or someone else. Don’t look at the statistics for 2015 but rather over a career. He did have two interceptions in 2015 though. In four seasons he has five interceptions and 282 tackles.

Linebacker will be another top position the Cardinals will look at closely though. Marshall from the Broncos is also a free agent but I see Denver re-signing him, likely allowing Trevathan to leave.
