Drew Butler, P

The first thought that comes to mind with Butler is how did he win the punting competition in training camp?  While he does well in pinning opponents inside the 20-yardline as 22 of 60 punts this was accomplished in 2015.  However in 2014 he had 34 of 79 punts arrive inside the 20.

Butler’s net average decreased by 1.4 yards in 2015.  He really wasn’t a guy to write home about in either 2014 or 2015.  There may not end up being a lot of better options in free agency.  I think Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King would be a nice addition though.  I have a hard time seeing him leaving Oakland though.  He’s a weapon there.
