Arizona Cardinals: Top 10 plays of the year
By Scott Allen
3. David Johnson’s 47-yard touchdown run against the Philadelphia Eagles
The man is hard to bring down anytime but on this night he was especially hard to bring down. In the second quarter of a game still in doubt at this point, Johnson broke several tackles down the right sideline en-route to a 47-yard score.
The play wasn’t his only shining moment of the night on Sunday Night Football either. He also wasn’t brought down later in the game despite a face mask that turned his helmet sideways. The Eagles just had no answer for Johnson and his 187 yards rushing on this Sunday evening. This was the game that really gave notice to other teams that the Cardinals already knew. David Johnson is going to be a beast in this league and as long as he stays healthy he will have a lot of games just like this one in the future.
