When it comes to the Arizona Cardinals roster, there are players from all kinds of colleges but these five are tops on the roster

The Arizona Cardinals have a lot of players added to their roster since the 2015 season ended.  However looking up and down the roster it is packed full of representation from big time colleges and universities. The SEC has 15 players alone.  There is a reason many view it as tops in college football.

The Cardinals also have 15 players from the ACC and nine from the PAC-12.  No doubt it is a stacked roster.  Here though are the five schools with the most representation on the current Cardinals roster.

USC

The Cardinals currently have three players from USC on the current roster.  Of course it all starts with quarterback Carson Palmer.  Palmer is going to enter his 14th NFL season in 2016 after having an outstanding 2015 season with 35 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions on 4,671 yards passing.

Then there is defensive tackle Frostee Rucker.  He will be entering his 11th season in the NFL in 2016.  Rucker spent the first six seasons of his career in Cincinnati.  Then he was in Cleveland for one year before landing in Arizona in 2013.  Like Palmer, Rucker likely retires a member of the Cardinals.

The third guy on this list is quarterback Matt Barkley.  Sure, he hasn’t stepped on a playing field yet for the Cardinals but he is a future option for the Cardinals.  Who knows if he will pan out here in Arizona but he is on a long list of USC quarterback greats.
