One of the best experiences in the Valley of the Sun is Arizona Cardinals gameday at University of Phoenix Stadium

There are a lot of great things to see and do in the Phoenix metro area.  There are plenty of ways to stretch your entertainment dollar.  One of those is attending an Arizona Cardinals game at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Since the start of the 2006 season, the Cardinals have played in Glendale at UOP.  The experience has become much more than a football game since their days at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. Sure, there was tailgating at Sun Devil but nothing like the experience you get in Glendale. Here are 10 great things about gameday in Glendale.

The food

The food inside is very good.  Now a lot of people will eat before entering the stadium but the options at a game are tremendous.  If yhou are in the mood for Mexican, you can get it.  If you want BBQ, you can have it. If you want the traditional hot dogs and hamburgers, you’re covered.

The food options when the team played at Arizona State were limited.  For the most part, the Cardinals shared the same options you could get at a Sun Devil football game.  The biggest exception was beer. They would add that in for Sunday’s.

Some of the eats you can get are Tachos (nachos with tater tots), Indian Fry Bread Taco, and Pig Wings.  Yep, the wings are made from pork shank.

For you soda drinkers, well there’s a deal to be had there as well.  If you buy a Souvenir Cup, you get $1 refills the entire game.  I don’t know many other events that will allow you to do that except for maybe at the movies.
