Arizona Cardinals: Ranking the 4 NFC West stadiums
By Scott Allen
3. Levi’s Stadium
Capacity: 68,500
Pro’s: It is the newest venue in the bunch. It opened in 2014 to much fanfare. It was the host to Super Bowl 50 a month ago. It also houses a huge art collection of the 49ers past, mostly from California artists.
Con’s: In addition to the fanfare, the stadium has not been short of its critics either. It is not anywhere near downtown San Francisco. It is approximately a 43-mile drive. The turf has been nothing short of awful. It has been replaced a couple of times and those sentiments were echoed after Super Bowl 50 as well. It houses the San Francisco 49ers. Alright, seriously though the team has had a couple of down seasons since moving into the building. Some attribute that to the stadium. I don’t know about that but there does seem to be a lot of complaining about the playing conditions.
What does it have that others don’t: It has a Bourbon Steak and Bourbon Pub. The stadium also features a 27,000 square foot “Green Roof” on the top of the stadium’s suite tower.
