The Arizona Cardinals version of March Madness started last Wednesday with free agency

Despite the Arizona Cardinals being quiet in free agency over the first several days of the new league year, there is a still a lot of movement that is to happen.  The Cardinals are still looking for their pass rusher and additions to the linebacker position.

However, that of course isn’t the only March Madness going on.  The NCAA Tournament is here.  Selection Sunday has just occurred.  Now is the time to start filling out your brackets.

Raising Zona has created a group on espn.com.  There is no money involved.  It costs you nothing to play.  The winner of the pool receives an Arizona Cardinals care package full of Cardinals goodies.

The group has been created to allow up to five entries per person.  So now is your chance to take the easy road with choosing Kansas or going all Cinderella on us and picking Stony Brook or Yale.  If you win the pool, I will obtain your mailing address at that point and send you the package.

Let’s have fun with this.  In the meantime, who do you have winning?  Who are your sleepers?  Who is your Sweet-16 Cinderella pick?

The pool will not count the first four games on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Your picks need to be in before tip-off of the first game Thursday morning.

Remember this is just for fun.  Please keep chatter clean.  Birdgang has a reputation to uphold.  We may know football but we love college basketball as well.  Raising Zona staff can participate in the challenge however can not win the prize.  In case someone from Raising Zona finishes in first place, the second place entry will win the prize.

The number one seeds are Kansas, North Carolina, Virginia, and Oregon.  If you need practice, here are printable brackets to work with.

Good luck to everyone!
