The 12-year receiver for the Arizona Cardinals has been tapped by the Arizona Diamondbacks for the opening night honor

Larry Fitzgerald had a great 2015 NFL season.  It culminated with a 75-yard catch and then a 5-yard catch two plays later for a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.  Now, he gets to throw a ball 60 feet and 6 inches.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have asked Fitz to throw out their ceremonial first pitch on opening night against the Colorado Rockies.  The game is at 6:40 p.m. on Monday night April 4th at Chase field in downtown Phoenix.

Fans seem excited for Fitz as well.  People took to Twitter to answer Fitz as to what pitch he should throw.
