The Arizona Cardinals select 29th in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft

As we have reached April, the 2016 NFL Draft is getting closer and closer.  The Arizona Cardinals select 29th in the first round.  We now have just four weeks until the big night in Chicago.

Here is a look at the draft profile of defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche out of Mississippi.  He is a possibility for the Cardinals.

Height: 6-3

Weight: 294

The upside:

He is good against the run and the pass.  He is powerful and can move his blockers with ease at times.

The downside:

Cbssports.com says his inconsistenty is what is his drawback.  He plays hard but is out of control at times.    He started out as a defensive end but was moved inside to tackle.  He had just seven sacks in his college career.  Reminds me of an underachiever, like Calais Campbell.  He gets close a lot of the time but close doesn’t count in football.

What people are saying:

The Cardinals have been said to be interested in him.  Reports were they were going to work him out.  The Broncos also seem very high on Nkemdiche as well.  People will worry about his off the field baggage but the talent is definitely there.  Do the Cardinals want to gamble on a guy like Nkemdiche in the first round?
