The Arizona Cardinals training camp is just a little over three and a half months away

We still don’t know all 90 players who will be in training camp at the end of July with the 2016 NFL Draft still to take place.  However for the Arizona Cardinals there are some players on the roster that might surprise you and make the final 53 come September.

There won’t be a lot of spots available, so the competition will be tough.  I expect these five players to make noise in the preseason.

Cariel Brooks, CB

Brooks was a player who played well in the 2015 preseason for the Cardinals.  I honestly though he would be part of the final 53 when the rosters were announced last September.  He had a 81-yard interception return in the third preseason game of 2015 against the Oakland Raiders.

The Cardinals are still undecided on at least one cornerback spot.  Corner Jerraud Powers is still a free agent and they could be looking to replace him on the roster.  Brooks should give it a good run in August and would not be surprised to see him on the final 53 this September.
