Week 11: @Minnesota Vikings 11:00 a.m. FOX
This is just the second early Sunday game for the Cardinals of the season. Will they be ready for the time difference? With Minnesota just two hours difference it might not be that as big of a deal.
The Cardinals and Vikings played a good one in Arizona last December with the Cards squeaking out a 23-20 victory on Thursday Night Football. Linebacker Dwight Freeney’s signature spin move sacked Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater as they were driving for a potential game-tying or game-winning score. The play caused a fumble and the Cardinals won the game.
The good news: This one will be played inside once again in Minnesota. After a few seasons outside, the Vikings have moved back indoors in their new stadium. So weather will not be a factor in this November matchup.
The bad news: The Vikings haven’t regressed much roster-wise. They still have running back Adrian Peterson and as long as he is in the game, he is dangerous.
Prediction: The Vikings may be looking to exact revenge on the Cardinals after coming so close to winning in December in Arizona. They might just get it, especially if they come out strong early like they did back in December.
