Week 13: Washington Redskins 2:25 p.m. FOX

The Cardinals last played the Redskins in Arizona in 2014.  They defeated the Redskins 30-20, not sealing the deal until a late interception of Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins.

This will be the 35th meeting between these two teams since the Cardinals moved to the desert in 1988.  They are 21-13 over the first 34 against the Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals.

The good news: It’s always good news when it is a home game.  The Redskins are coming off an NFC East Championship but that almost seems like it was more by default thanks to poor years by the other three NFC East teams.

The bad news: Cousins is turning into the real deal.  He can still be shaky at times but clearly was the better choice for the long term in Washington over Robert Griffin III, who has now departed for the Cleveland Browns. The Skins will put points on the board.

Prediction: This one will likely play close until the fourth quarter.  The Cardinals rushing attack is better than it was two seasons ago.  Cousins will still make silly mistakes at the worst times.

Cardinals 37 Redskins 28

The Cardinals go 3-1 in the third quarter of the season, bringing their season record to 10-2 going into the final month of the 2016 season.  They are going to have to go on the road for three of those final four games, so I hope everyone is ready for that ride.
