Just 19 more picks until it is the Arizona Cardinals turn to select in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft

Not much surprise with the first two picks of the NFL Draft.  The third and fourth picks were surprises.  The fifth pick was not after the Dallas Cowboys passed Jalen Ramsay from Florida State.

Now we only need to wait another 23 picks for the Arizona Cardinals to make a pick.  That is unless they move up.  That’s always a possibility.

1st pick – Jared Goff, QB, California – Los Angeles Rams

2nd pick – Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State – Philadelphia Eagles

3rd pick – Joey Bosa, LB, Ohio State – San Diego Chargers

4th pick – Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State – Dallas Cowboys

5th pick – Jalen Ramsay, CB, Florida State – Jacksonville Jaguars

6th pick – Ronnie Stanley, T, Notre Dame – Baltimore Ravens

Bosa seemed like a stretch for some fans, given the makeup of the current Chargers defense.  Ramsay can play both cornerback and safety if needed.

It was a picke’em when it came to Goff and Wentz.  Bosa and Elliot from Ohio State went back to back.  The Ravens found a very good player to protect quarterback Joe Flacco.  We wait to see what the Cardinals do.
